Native to Algeria hence the name Algerian Ivy, the Glore de Marengo is one of many shades you can find this ivy in. Tolerant to salt unlike other ivy that would not do well in a heavy salt environment, the Algerian Ivy is usually seen growing in coastal areas as a deterrent of coastal erosion during high tide.
Give it bright indirect light or it will stretch to find it. Leaving legging stems with not much foliage growth. If you are also the forgetful waterer, Algerian Ivy is drought resistant, handling a long wait in between watering. However, the more consistent the watering the better the grown so don’t be too reliant on that strength.
